    Juventus and Chelsea to go head to head for €30m midfielder

    Both Chelsea and Juventus are looking for midfield reinforcement and according to Spanish paper Estadio Deportivo, the Blues and the bianconeri are interested in signing Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi who has not signed a new contract with the LaLiga giants and has a release clause of € 30 million included in his current deal with the Spanish club.

    N’Zonzi has already gained some Premier League experience having played for Blackburn and Stoke City before moving to Sevilla in a € 8 million deal in summer 2015.

    According to the report, Chelsea scouts have been watching the Frenchman many times this season, whilst Juventus had a change to watch him in the direct Champions League meeting with Sevilla last September.
    The 27-year-old midfielder is impressing under Jorge Sampaoli having netted two goals in 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season and could be available in the January transfer window if any club meet the player’s release clause.
