Juventus: still keen on Walcott; Diakité in June. Inter Milan: Sneijder's future uncertain

It’s almost sure that 28 year old Federico Peluso will be Juventus’first signing in the Winter transfer window; but the Italy international won’t be the only player that will enforce the Serie A defending champions’defense: the bianconeri, in fact, according to La Repubblica, have already found an agreement with 25 year old Modibo Diakité, who will arrive in Turin at the end of the season as a free agent: the Ivorian player has in fact refused the 800.000 euros per year salary offered by Lazio to extend his deal; moreover, the Piedmontese club will try to sign immediately 18 year old Mateus Doria Macedo “Doria”, actually at Botafogo. Regarding the offensive line, as reported yesterday, coach Antonio Conte, in addition to a center-forward, requires a fast player, and, even if his main target seems to be Barcelona 24 year old Alexis Sanchez, also Arsenal 23 year old Theo Walcott remains a valid option: the England national, in fact, according to the Daily Mail, has 15 days to decide if he will extend or not his contract with the Gunners, that will expire at the end of the current season.

The position of Inter Milan 28 year old attacking midfielder Wesley Sneijder remains uncertain: after that the player has declared that leaving the Lombard club would be the best solution, there have been some rumours about a possible transfer to Liverpool, but the English club has denied such possibility, and this situation is actually blocking the nerazzurri’s transfer market.
