Good news for Lazio fans as Stefan de Vrij started today’s training session with the rest of his team-mates. The Dutch centre-back hasn’t featured for his club side since last August following knee surgery and has been sorely missed at the heart of the Biancocelesti defence.

In what is surely more good news, the 24 year-old also took part in the practice match which brought the training session to a close. De Vrij joined Lazio in the summer of 2014 and after a shaky start quickly established himself as a regular in the team.
