Leicester City, Benalouane celebrates Premier League title despite being loaned out to Fiorentina
Well...yesterday they might have found an answer to their question. Benalouane has failed to play one single minute with La Viola this term, due to a back injury which has never let up in six months time, but Benalouane was spotted at the King Power Stadium yesterday, celebrating Leicester City’s Premier League title alongside his former teammates, wearing the Foxes’ home kit!
Banalouane lifted the trophy amid surprised gaze of Riyad Mahrez, Jamie Vardy and the rest of Leicester City’s Premier League heroes. It is still unknown whether the player’s trip to England was authorised by Fiorentina or not, but what we can take for granted is that La Viola will not pay € 6 million to sign him to permanent deal.
The former Atalanta man will travel back to Leicester in less than one month time, though also Claudio Ranieri does not plan to have him in the squad next season. Unless he needs to celebrate another title.
