Liverpool interested in €65m Bayern Munich star
The German international has had a difficult season at Bayern Munich, not playing the key role he is used to. Ironically, he was the subject of a huge €96m Manchester United offer last summer, which the Bavarians shot down.
He has since found the likes of Thiago Alcantara have stolen his starting job.
Now, Jurgen Klopp is interested in the 27-year-old, who only started 25 goals in Bundesliga play last season, scoring five times.
With James Rodriguez recently joining on a two-year-loan with option to buy, Muller’s position is further under threat.
Liverpool want to pick up the attacking midfielder, who has scored 161 goals in 394 games in all competitions for the Bavarian giants.
