Menez set for AC Milan stay? Agent: ‘Montella wanted to sign him at Fiorentina’
Jeremy Menez was the best rossoneri player two years ago, but he failed to find consistency last term both under Sinisa Mihajlovic and Cristian Brocchi.
The player’s agent has released an interview with Footmercato.net talking about the future of his client. “The new season will begin on the 5th of July, Montella worked with him at AS Roma and wanted to sign Menez at Fiorentina, we are in no rush, we’ll be talking to the club and the manager to know their plans for Jeremy.”
“He only has one year left on his contract, if they won’t give us guarantees, we’ll be looking for a new club.”
“We have received no concrete offers so far. Jeremy i 29, which is the perfect age for a striker, we’ll evaluate all offers. He could return to the Ligue1 with an interesting project. We are open to all options, a move to China could be interesting too, everything can happen.”
