Milan star Suso makes Spain provisional squad

Milan star Suso is impressing with the rossoneri so far this season. With one goal scored and three assists registered in the opening 11 games of the season, the Spaniard is getting consistent game time under Vincenzo Montella and has also attracted the attention of Spain national team coach Julen Lopetegui who has included the former Liverpool man in Spain’s provisional squad for the next games against Macedonia and England.

Lopetegui is a long-time admirer of the 22-year-old winger who impressed under the Spaniard tactician with Spain youth teams in the past.

Suso’s call-up to Spain provisional squad doesn’t necessarily mean that he will make it into the final squad, but it is a first step towards his first official call-up to senior squad.

If the product of Cadiz academy will continue impressing with his club over the next few months, Lopetegui is definitely going to give him a chance with Spain senior team.

Suso is expected to start tomorrow’s Serie A clash between Milan and Palermo.
