    Napoli: the only Serie A club to boast an increase in attendances: details

    With attendance's in Serie A coming under intense scrutiny, Napoli are the only club to have recorded an increase in the early weeks of the new season. The vesuviani have reported a 13% rise in fans coming through the turnstiles at the Stadio San Paolo whilst Juventus and Inter have seen a decrease in crowds at the J Stadium and San Siro respectively. Roma and Milan are at a similar level to that of last season.

    FROM 10% TO 13%:
    Napoli can boast an increase from 10 to 13% which is double the increase of that of Roma, there traditional opponents for supremacy in the central and southern regions, and one that is very close to Inter’s figure of 14%.

    JUVE & INTER IN DECLINE:
    Juve statistics show a 1% shortfall from 35 to 34% whilst Inter’s attendance's have decreased 17 to 14%. Lazio has seen a 1% decrease now down to 2% which is the same as Fiorentina.
