Napoli: De Sanctis to extend; message from Douglas Costa. Genoa: the Velazquez case

The contract of Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis will expire in June 2013, but, according to Napolisoccer.net, the agent of the 35 year old and the Neapolitan club have finally found an agreement to extend it, so the Italy national should put pen to paper on the new deal in a few days and remain in Naples even in the next seasons. As reported the other day, the azzurri are interested in Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa, and, as reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the agent of the Brazilian player has confirmed that his client would like to move to Italy. The contract od the 22 year old with the Ukrainian club will expire in 2016, and his evaluation amounts to almost 20 million euros.

During the last transfer window, 21 year old defender Julian Alberto Velazquez has left Independiente to sign for Genoa. But two weeks ago, following a problem in the payement for his transfer, the player has announced his decision to move back to his former club, and two days ago los diablos rojos have confirmed the return of the player. The Ligurian club has answered with an official announcement, confirming that Velazquez is still a Genoa player. The rossoblu president Enrico Preziosi wants the Argentina national to come back, and, as reported by many medias, the situation will probably have to be solved by FIFA. On the contrary, 35 year old right back Gianluca Zambrotta, free agent since his contract with AC Milan has expired, has expressed his will to end his career in an important club, and seems to have had some contacts with the rossoblu, but, at the moment, the former World Champion is still waiting for an answer.
