OFFICIAL: Conte will no longer be Italy's boss
Today, the Italian football federation’s president Carlo Tavecchio has announced: “Antonio Conte has informed me that after the European Cup, his experience will end. He misses too much club football and the daily training, and I understand him”.
Through his Facebook profile, Conte himself commented: “At the moment, we are totally focused on the national team. Who knows me can confirm that I am totally committed. On the other hand, I feel the need to work for a club and to coach every day. I thank president Tavecchio, who is next to me in this great adventure”.
