‘Perin will only leave if the offer is too good’, agent reveals

Mattia Perin’s agent Matteo Roggi has released an interview with Italian radio station Radio CRC to reveal the Genoa goalkeeper’s plan for the future with clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter which were linked with welcoming the 23-year-old services over the last couple of transfer windows.

“I hope Perin will play in a big team in the future. He has 120 appearances in Serie A, he is the only young goalkeeper to have so much experience of Serie A football at the moment.”

“Genoa are only going to sell him if the offer is too good, they won’t give him away.”

“During the 2014 World Cup, Bayern Munich proposed him to move there, but he rejected because he thought it would have been too difficult to overcome Manuel Neuer as the first choice goalkeeper.
“ That’s when I understood he is a mature player and person.”

“I hope he will get Italy call up for EURO 2016, apart from when he was injured, he has always been in the squad. He only need to work hard and try to improve every day like he has always done.”
