ZIDANE ISN'T USING HIM - Not only did James Rodriguez did not start the game for Real Madrid but when Real were down 1-0 , Zidane preferred using Casemiro, Asensio and Mariano over him. This does not look good as James might want to leave in an attempt to get more playing time.
OZIL IS IN HIS SHADOW - Mesut Ozil's contract expires with Arsenal in 2018 and contract talks between both parties are not really advancing. It seems like a Real Madrid return might be on the cards as Florentino Perez likes him a lot and Ozil did recently state that his idol has always been Zidane.
INTER WANT TO MAKE ANOTHER ATTEMPT- Inter tried to get James last summer but the Colombian decided to stay in Madrid. Suning are planning to make at least one big acquisition next year and James remains to be on top of their list. With the little playing time he is currently getting, a move might seem to be realistic after all.
