REPORT: Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi could leave on loan
The Portuguese coach can’t do away with prolific centre-forward Nikola Kalinic -whose backup Khouma El Babacar has scored five goals- and can’t guarantee the former Villarreal player a starting berth.
Rossi has done quite well in the Europa League, and had a chance to start in Monday’s Serie A game against Sassuolo, but was replaced by the Croatian Kalinic after the first half. The 28-year-old seemed quite upset by the coach's choice, as he needs more minutes on the pitch to get back to his best.
Though the Viola won't countenance selling the 28-year-old, violanews are reporting that they could evaluate the possibility of loan Rossi if he asks for a move.
