    During the next transfer window, AS Roma will be extremely active on the transfer market: as outlined by the Corriere dello Sport, if Juan Manuel Iturbe will ask to leave, the Capitoline club won’t ignore him, and the same will happen with Leandro Castan, while  the destiny of Salih Uçan is henceforth clear, as with the recovery of Kevin Strootman, the Turkey international will become the seventh choice for Rudi Garcia’s midfield; Bologna are extremely interested in the 21-year-old.

    Roma could in any case, sign a new midfielder, like Brescia 20-year-old Ismail H’Maidat or –according to the latest rumors- Sevilla FC 27-year-old Ever Banega: the contract of the Argentina international with his current club will expire at the end of the season.

    The giallorossi remain attentive to the situation of the 25-year-old wingback Bruno Peres –who has just extended his deal with Torino- and are also interested in Schalke 04 22-year-old Sead Kolasinac; the Bosnia international also holds a German passport, so that he could join even in January, but he is basically a left back, while Garcia’s team needs a center back.

    A concrete option could then be Udinese 27-year-old Thomas Heurtaux, while Roma’s dream remains bringing Mehdi Benatia back to the “Olimpico” .
