    REPORT: Torino target Italy Internationals Sirigu and Immobile

    Torino are failing to live up to expectations this term as the Granata sit 14th in Serie A hovering just seven points above the relegation zone, while Giampiero Ventura’s side were supposed to battle it out for Europe placement in this campaign.

    According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport, former Torino star Ciro Immobile could make his Stadio Olimpico comeback very soon as he failed to impress at Sevilla FC during his six-months spell on loan in Spain. The 25-year-old hit-man is supposed to join his former club on loan with buy-out clause.

    At the same time, Daniele Padelli’s unpredictable form has led Torino Sporting Director Daniele Petrachi to approach PSG over Salvatore Sirigu transfer. The Italy International could join Torino on loan with the Parc des Princes side who have expressed their willingness to pay half of the 28-year-old goalkeeper’s wages.

    Tuttosport has also revealed that he club are closing in on the signing of Genoa wantaway Panagiotis Tachtsidis to replace Alessandro Gazzi who’s heading to Serie B side Cagliari and that De Maio, a central defender who also belongs to Genoa, could be the replacement of Nicola Maksimovic, should the Serbian full-back join Napoli in January window.
