Revealed: Inter may be forced to sell €50m United target

Inter may be forced to sell Ivan Perisic to Manchester United, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Though the Croatian wants to move to Old Trafford and told the Nerazzurri as much yesterday.

The Italian paper confirms that Inter have to find 30 million to satisfy their Financial Fair Play deal with UEFA. They can either do that, or receive some pretty hefty fines.

As of a few days ago, Inter were denying that the Croatian would move, their sporting director accusing the papers of lying.

“Ivan Perisic to Manchester United? You said it was already a done deal,” Piero Ausilio told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“You say things that aren’t true. There’s an interest on their [Manchester United’s] part, but he is unsellable”.

Inter value their man at around 50 million, the 28-year-old coming off a strong Serie A campaign, in which he scored eleven goals and was generally one of the Nerazzurri’s stars.
