    During an interview accorded to La Repubblica, Sampdoria attacking midfielder Ricky Alvarez has talked about his recent transfer to the blucerchiati: “I had other offers, but I also liked Sampdoria, and it was the chance to move back to Italy; for me, the Serie A is the best, even comparing it to Germany, Spain and England”.
     
    Regarding his future, the Argentine said: “I still don’t know who has the ownership. It’s not an easy situation, but I can say that football players in general are not used to know their future. In any case, all this doesn’t depend from me. I just want to do well at Sampdoria to earn a real contract”.
