According to Sky Sport Italia, Daniele De Rossi is ready to put pen to paper on a new contract with Roma.

The saga involving the player’s expiring contract has been going on for months, but now the Giallorossi seem to have finally persuaded the player to stay at the Olimpico.

De Rossi will earn around €6M per season but his contract will also include a release clause set between €10M and €15M.

However, any club wishing to sign De Rossi though the buyout clause will have to do so at a fixed date (probably between June and July) giving the Giallorossi enough time to look for a replacement in the transfer market.
