ROMANO: 'Matuidi stays at PSG; the alternatives for Juve'
The bianconeri had reached a full agreement with the player, but the French club has finally decided to prevent the transfer; the Ligue 1 champions are irritated by Juve’s attitude, not only for what concerns the former Saint-Etienne man.
Now, the Piedmont’s club will have to find an alternative. Of course, Matuidi could still leave, but for at least €30 million. The Serie A defending champions could swoop back for Mateo Kovacic or Luiz Gustavo, all difficult targets.
