Samporia have officially announced that Antonio Cassano has been punished for his "disrespectful behaviour towards president Garrone".

The player could have apologised, but refused to sign a statement of apology.

There are two possible scenarios: (1) to be referred to the "Collegio Arbitrale" which would consequently excluded from the team or he could back down and sign the document of apology. The club's coach, Mimmi Di Carlo said in a press conference that there will be news soon.
