Shevchenko: 'Milan could change name!'
Following a summer buyout from a large Chinese consortium, the Rossoneri have recruited little, and have yet to define who their director of sport will be.
And yet, the former Diavolo legend, approached before tonight’s game between Dinamo Kyev and Napoli, had another bombshell to drop…
“Milan might even change names. I’m very curious about the whole thing,” he told La Stampa, “the team hasn’t begun well, but the season has only just started”.
“I’m actually more interested in what is happening off the pitch. I’ve heard nothing but rumours, names, numbers, I’m waiting for something tangible”.
The Milan legend then pointed out that a few of his former team-mates would be more than suited for managerial roles:
“I’ve already said that Maldini would be great, but that Costacurta and Albertini would also be ideal choices”.
