The four Inter players set to leave in January

According to today’s edition of Il Giornale, there are four players who are set to leave Inter in the January transfer window after their elimination from Europa League. The nerazzurri boss Stefano Pioli confirmed after Thursday’s Europa League game against Sparta Prague that there are just too many players under contract with Inter at the moment and that some of them are going to leave the Meazza hierarchy in January.

The Italian paper claims that Gabigol, Kondogbia, Jovetic and Felipe Melo are the first four names on Inter’s list of departures. The Brazilian striker is going to leave on loan and there are currently three Serie A clusb interested welcoming his services on a temporary basis: Pescara, Empoli and Genoa are monitoring the situation of the promising striker and Inter have offered him in exchange for Genoa midfielder Rincon.

Talking about midfielders, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Felipe Melo are also going to bid their farewell to the Meazza. The Frenchman joined Inter in summer 2015 for € 30 million and the nerazzurri do not want to register a capital loss, that’s why they’ll try to sell him on loan with € 22-23 million option to buy. Melo, on the other hand, can leave on a permanent deal with Galatasaray and two Brazilain clubs interested.

In the end there is Stevan Jovetic. The Montenegro International has struggled with game time under Franck De Boer and Fiorentina are interested in signing him. Yet again, the Serie A giants are considering a swap deal to take Milan Badelj to Milan.
