Valencia continue new manager chase: these are Cesare Prandelli’s requests

Valencia’s new manager chase continues after that Pako Ayestaran was sacked eight days ago. Many managers have been linked with the job but Cesare Prandelli looks the closest one to be appointed at the Mestalla.

According to a report of Spanish paper Marca, negotiations with the Italian manager are ongoing, so much so the director of sport Garcia Pitarch is said to have had a secret dinner with the former Galatasaray boss on Thursday last week.

Prandelli reportedly informed the Spanish club about requests during the meeting. The ex Italy national team coach wants a one year contract with option to extend the contract for one more season and asked the club to hire all his staff alongside him.

A new meeting has been scheduled in the next few days, but the two parties seem really close to finding an agreement.

Prandelli, 59, had his last coaching experience at Galatasaray in 2014. He went close to coaching Lazio last summer, before the biancocelesti entered transfer talks with Marcelo Bielsa who eventually declined the biancocelesti offer.
