After a long negotiation, Miguel Veloso has arrived in Italy to sign the contract with Genoa. Last night he played in Europa League away match that Sporting Lisbon won 1-0 over Nordsjaelland in Denmark, and this morning he landed in Milan.

"It's a dream to be here in Italy", said the player after his arrival. In the afternoon he will have a medical check and perhaps this evening he will be presented in Varese, where Genoa are playing a friendly match. President Preziosi has invested about 7.5 million euro plus the Spanish midfielder  Zapater.
