Wanda: 'We don't want to prolong Icardi's deal past 2019'
Mauro Icardi’s agent (and also wife) stirred up a bit of a hornet’s nest last week by claiming that Inter would need to sell its star striker because it was short of cash.
“We want to change Mauro Icardi’s contract, but we need to wait. Everything will be clear within a week.
“Our intention at the moment isn’t to prolong his deal past 2019, we just want to modify it from a financial perspective.
“If Mauro will stay at Inter? That’s a question you need to ask him. I want him to stay because we’re happy here in Milan, but he needs to answer directly”.
Beyond that, Icardi’s agent has also begun to follow Juventus on twitter. A provocation? Either way, Giuseppe Marotta has asked after Icardi.
