Agent of Juventus target Mendy: 'Lyon want him for another season, he can go to China'
Mendy has become a target for clubs like Real Madrid and Juventus this summer, having impressed for Lyon this season. He has made 28 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring twice and assisting once and he has been one of the best players for the club.
During an interview that Mendy's agent Yvan Lee Mee gave to Tuttosport, he revealed some details about his future.
He said: "He is a French Marcelo when he attacks, but on defense he can be compared to Alex Sandro or the Chivu of the golden times.Mendy is left-handed, but he also has a nice right that allows him to come often to play inside the field.
"40-50 million euros? That of the left-back right now is a rare and expensive role. Lyon has not put Mendy on the market and President Aulas would like to enjoy it another year. But it will depend on the offers: if the right one arrives, especially at the level of the sports project, we will seek an agreement with Lyon that can please everyone. That of Mendy will be a technical choice, not only economic: otherwise, we would go to China."
