Allegri reveals when Ronaldo will rest

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has revealed that while he would want Cristiano Ronaldo to rest, the player has never asked for rest himself.

The summer signing from Real Madrid arrived for a fee of 100 million euros this past summer and has appeared in every single Serie A game, scoring nine times and assisting five times.

In the press conference ahead of Juve's game against Fiorentina, Allegri was asked about Ronaldo's rest. He said: "De Sciglio and Cancelo can play left and right. Cuadrado played on the right the other day. Of the three is what I can use more even in the middle of the field. Cristiano never asked me to rest."
