Barcelona star explains Roma snub was not about the money
Last summer Malcom was the protagonist of one of the most clamorous turnabouts of the last few years of the transfer market. He returned to speak about that situation and, interviewed by BeIn Sports, he talked about his decision to move to Barcelona from Bordeax when everything was done with AS Roma: "I would have been happy, very happy to go to AS Roma, but when I was contacted by Barcelona for me was the realization of the dream I had since I was a child. When I was three or four years old, I told my mother that one day I would play in Barça and when I had the chance I did not think twice”, Malcom said.
Malcom moved from Bordeaux to Barcelona on July 24 for 41 million euros plus 1 million bonuses. He has not been one of the team’s protagonists yet but he’s recently scored his first goal in Blaugrana against Inter in Champions League.
