In France they insist - Pastore to Juve

Reports from France suggest that Javier Pastore could possibly be on his way to Juventus.  Le10sport claims that the player’s entourage and bianconeri executives have begun negotiations that could see the 27-year-old Argentine return to the peninsula after an absence of five years.

The former Palermo player has never discarded a possible return to Serie A and next summer could well see him make that return. Juventus are still in the hunt for a top-class midfield replacement for Paul Pogba and despite being linked with Belgian international Axel Witsel and Pastore’s PSG teammate Blaise Matuidi, the Argentine’s creativity in a midfield that already contains Claudio Marchisio, Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic and German Sami Khedira, looks to have put him in pole-position on the list of CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.

Pastore has made 144 appearances for the Parisian’s scoring 25 goals in a career in France that has been blighted by injury.
