Juventus, Allegri: '37 points missing for the Scudetto'

Max Allegri spoke to Sky Italia after his side beat Sampdoria 2-1 at Allianz Stadium, concluding the first half of the season.

"At a glance, 37 points are missing for the Scudetto. It was a good win today, it wasn't a simple game by any means. We had a lot of chances, then we lost our heads a bit. We got nervous, we still have to improve, we needed to be calmer after Samp's goal," he began.

VAR was called into action three times this afternoon, and Allegri made it clear that it should be used when needed.

"VAR? It should be used when they think it's worth using. Valeri did well, he needed the support.

"What I ask for 2019? Champions League? With Ronaldo, the perception is different: we need to get it right, to do well in every competition."
