Juventus refuse to go away from Jordi Alba

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly still keen on signing Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba, with the player in a deadlock over negotiations over a new contract with Barcelona.

Alba has become one of the world's best left-backs during his time at the Nou Camp, but reports had stated that he was unsettled for a brief time before he being set to sign a new deal with the club recently.

Tuttosport report that while Alba seems set yet to have committed himself  to the Catalans till the summer of 2023, Juventus refuse to give up on the Spaniard and could still have a go at tempting him.

Alba's current deal expires in the summer of 2020 and Juve are having a look at players whose deals run out in that period. Alba falls under that category, as terms over a fresh deal are yet to be agreed.

Although Alex Sandro too has signed a new deal at Juve, the bianconeri are still vigilant about Alba more than the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City are.
