New AC Milan signing Paqueta: 'Kaka has been my idol, he was the best in the world'
The Brazilian was presented to the media in a press conference today, following his move from Flamengo for a fee of 35 million euros. While his signing was announced in October, Paqueta joined up with the Milan squad over the last few days in 2019.
While talking in the press conference, Paqueta talked about Kaka being his idol. He said: "He is a great player, always my idol. I am at the beginning of my career, he was the best of all, in the world."
When asked about how Leonardo convinced him to join Milan, Paqueta said: "The first word I was told was Milan. A great team with a great story presented me a very important project with very important people and protagonists. With my family they have decided that Milan is the best for me.
"This club is a beautiful thing."
