AC Milan star admits he could have left in the summer amid Spurs links

Suso has, over the past two seasons, become a vital cog in Milan’s wheel. The 23-year-old has scored five goals already this season, racking up a tally of three assists.
He had drawn links with a move to Tottenham last summer, but ended up staying and penning a new deal. The Liverpool was recently talking to Sky Sports. He said: "With the club as I always said I'm very happy ,I could have gone away but I'm here and I'm very happy. There is a rescission clause , but I'm very happy here in Milan, I think if I wanted to go I would not have renewed the contract: maybe I was waiting a bit and could have gone away for a low price".
Suso signed new deal with the rossoneri this past September, keeping him at the club till 2022.
