Paolo Maldini is nearing his return to AC Milan, the club where he spent his entire playing career and won numerous trophies. The club have been decisive in their actions since the Elliott group took over, bringing in Leonardo and making splash signings Higuain and Caldara.

Maldini’s return to the Rossoneri appears imminent and the announcement could be made later today.
