Spurs on red alert as Sampdoria linked with sensational move for Real Madrid starlet

Tottenham are known to be long time admirers of Real Madrid starlet Mariano Diaz who is being tipped to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer to join a club that can give him more game time.

The 23-year-old striker is one of the most wanted young strikers in Europe. Last season he managed one goal every 114 minutes and Tottenham have already made the first steps towards the signing of the talented strikers.

Reports in Italy, however, claim Sampodoria have joined the Premier League side in race to sign the talented striker who is also being linked with a move to Lyon.

Sampdoria are considering signing the player on a permanent deal offering Real Madrid € 6/7 million. The Merengues, however, may want to keep control on the 23-year-old adding a buy-back clause deal.

Sampdoria can afford to spend as much as they’ve just sold Schick to Juventus for € 30 million and Skriniar to Inter for € 20 million plus Gianluca Caprari.
