UEFA wants to play Champions League games during weekends

UEFA are preparing a revolution to counter the possible introduction of the European Superleague. According to AS, the European football organization is considering moving the Champions League matches from Tuesday and Wednesday to the weekend.

A proposal that, according to the Spanish newspaper, would have been categorically rejected by La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and the Premier League, which would have refused this notion through a letter signed and sent to UEFA.
