15.15 - WOLFSBURG-GOMEZ: Wolfsburg are getting closer to signing German international striker Mario Gomez. On a day of frenetic activity in Germany, which resulted in the club declining the services of Simone Zaza, it now seems that the same offer that was presented to Zaza, €3.5 million plus bonus, has been accepted by the 31-year-old and Wolfsburg and the players current club Fiorentina, have also found an agreement.
13.00 - The deal to take Juventus striker Simone Zaza to Wolfsburg looks to have collapsed. The Bundesliga club has decided to abandon their quest for the Italian international and have instead returned to the track of German frontman Mario Gomez, who is due to leave Fiorentina this summer.
