Carlos Tevez rejects West Ham’s offer
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has revealed the details of negotiations during an interview with the Daily Mirror
“We’ve made an attempt for Tevez but he wants £ 250.000 a week. I played amazingly in the last two seasons with Juventus, but how can he ask £ 250.000 a week?”
“He keeps saying he loves West Ham. He should say I love West Ham if they give me £ 250.000 a week. We’ve offered him £ 150.000 a week plus bonus. I thought it was an incredible offer for someone who loves West Ham.”
“I told him he is the greatest striker of the club’s history. I’ve hoped he could repeat what he did with Juventus.”
