Calciomercato.com analyzes the situation of Juventus youth team goalkeeper Emil Audero. The 18-year-old has helped Fabio Grosso’s team to defeat the league’s current leaders Fiorentina, but the game against the viola was only the fifth one of the season for Audero.

The youngster is in any case considered Buffon’s heir, and the Piedmont’s club Giuseppe Marotta has decided to include him in the UEFA list. The promise made to Audero is to have him grow up next to Buffon, Neto and Rubinho but to continue to play in the youth team. The problem is that –due to the injuries suffered by Rubinho- Audero has been called many times by Massimiliano Allegri to be the third goalkeeper.

As he turned 18, Audero has signed his first contract as a professional player for the Serie A defending champions, and this proves his club’s confidence. But Juve will have to be aware of Inter Milan’s interest, as the nerazzurri’s number one Erick Thohir has confirmed to Tuttosport to admire the young goalie, who is –by the way- of Indonesian descent.
