Exclusive: Inter face competition from Serie A and EPL clubs to sign Atalanta youngsters
It comes as no secret that the best Italian and European clubs are monitoring Atalanta players as the nerazzurri are just one point behind a Champions League spot and their boss Giampiero Gasperini is playing some of the most interesting players of the league.
Yesterday’s scorers are definitely on Inter’s agenda, but the Serie A giants are aware of the competition from other clubs like, for example, Juventus.
Kessié is one of the hottest prospects of the league. He’s a centre midfielder but has already scored six goals and registered two assists in the opening 12 games of the season. Calciomercato.com’s transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano has exclusively learned that Inter are not open to offer more than € 13-14 million and that Juventus are currently in pole position to sign the 19-year-old starlet at the end of the season.
As for Caldara, AS Roma are very interested in signing him and not only because his goal that levelled yesterday’s clash. Being only 22-year-old, Caldara is one of the most promising centre-back of the league and has also netted three goals so far this season. His teammate Roberto Gagliardini is also impressing and is being closely monitored by Fiorentina and AS Roma.
Napoli, in the end, have a first option clause to sign the talented right-back Andrea Conti who is also on Inter’s radars. The latter is the only player who could leave Atalanta in January, all the others won’t leave the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia before the end of the season.
Serie A clubs, however, are not the only ones watching Atalanta youngsters as scouts of Sevilla and Chelsea were also spotted in Bergamo yesterday.
