    Liverpool Transfer News: Reds approach Lazio over goalkeeper transfer

    Despite Simon Mignolet’s recent contract extension at Liverpool, Reds have approached Lazio over Federico Marchetti transfer in January, gianlucadimarzio.com reveals.

    The 32-year-old shot-stopper joined Lazio in 2011 from Cagliari on a € 5.2 million deal and has played 157 games with the Biancocelesti since then.

    Marchetti, a product of Torino Academy, is currently out of action due to hamstring injury and his price tag is believed to be in the region of € 7 million.
