    MLS club interested in Mario Gomez: details

    Could Mario Gomez move to the MLS after EURO 2016? The Germany striker has received an offer from an MLS team which has not been named yet. The only thing we know so far is that they have tabled a contract offer in the region of € 8 million a year.

    Italian middle-man Bernardo Brovarone is the intermediary of the negotiation and has informed Fiorentina about the interest for Gomez who might return to the club after scoring 28 goals for Besiktas, the club he joined on a loan deal last summer.

    Trouble is, the American club would only sign Gomez if he rescinds his contract with Fiorentina. La Viola are not planning to keep Gomez next season, but they don’t want to give him away for free, especially after watching the Germany striker scoring two goals at EURO 2016.

    Gomez is available in the market for just € 5 million.
