Could Santi Cazorla join Juventus as a free agent?

Many British newspapers are reporting that Juventus have set sights on Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, whose contract with the club expires in June 2017.

The Spaniard has yet to receive any offer from the Gunners and can sign a contract with any other club from January, leaving Arsenal for free at the end of the season.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is short of options in midfield and the 31-year-old could be an option to add depth and quality to the Old Lady’s squad.

Juventus GM Giuseppe Marotta is known to make some very good business when it comes to signing free agents as he has already signed many of them since he was appointed as Juventus’ GM back in June 2010.

The likes of Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Kingsley Coman, Fernando Llorente, Patrice Evra, Sami Khedira, Neto and Dani Alves have all joined the Old Lady for nothing and Cazorla could be the next one signing with the Serie A giants as a free agent.
