    Also the former Italy manager Cesare Prandelli, on his weekly article for calciomercato.com, has commented the difficult situation of AS Roma legend Francesco Totti: “It’s difficult to judge the Totti gate if you don’t know the situation from the inside, what I can see is that the relation between Francesco and Spalletti is not clear. I don’t know why a nice guy like him and a symbol for Rome and AS Roma like Totti has arrived at this point. I can’t understand Totti’s position, but I definitely understand Spalletti’s one: you can be the best player, the captain, but certain attitudes are unacceptable”.
     
    “The club’s reaction is even more incomprehensible” he added “they have shown an incredible inaction about this vicissitude. Certain topics must be faced at the right moment and in a clear way, you can’t just avoid them. Then it happens that a coach will find himself in a difficult situation, forced to solve some problems that shouldn’t be up to him”.
