EXCLUSIVE ROMANO: Inter, Mirabelli’s replacement and the scouting in South-America:from Almiron to Zeca

Massimiliano Mirabelli is set to join Milan as he says farewell to Inter. He had been with the club for over 2 years but Inter decided to let him leave since Milan were offering him a big opportunity. Mirabelli will become Milan’s sporting director once the closing is complete, in the mean time he will be a consultant to the Chinese group.

And Inter? They did not keep Mirabelli since he only had 1 year left of contract and because he wanted to join Milan. Suning will now look to replace him: Tomorrow there should be talks to explore all of their possibilities as a final decision should be taken by October.

South America- The idea is to find someone who compliments Suning’s vision. They want someone who can find young talents but also someone who knows how to find ready made players at good prices. South America will remain an area were Inter will keep on targeting as they were actually scouting 2 players (with Mirabelli): Miguel Almiron of Lanus and Zeca of Santos.
