AC Milan: Maldini opens door to Fabregas move, the latest on the future of Chelsea star

Paolo Maldini has confirmed that AC Milan will try to sign both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cesc Fabregas ‘if they will have the chance’. The former Italy defender spoke to Sky Sport after AC Milan’s win against Parma yesterday and confirmed that both stars are on AC Milan’s agenda.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, however, AC Milan won’t sign the Spaniard if Chelsea will ask more than € 10 million for his transfer.

Fabregas is one of AC Milan’s January targets alongside Denis Suarez and Stefano Sensi and the Chelsea star is eager to leave the Stamford Bridge to have more game time.

Calciomercato.com has exclusively learned that the Rossoneri have already begun talks to sign Fabregas and that Suarez has recently been offered to AC Milan. Previous reports in Italy claim Sarri will only sell Fabregas if Chelsea will sign a valuable replacement before.

Fabregas’ Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season.
