AC Milan target Badelj laughs off Fiorentina exit rumours

Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj is being linked with a January move to AC Milan as he’s reportedly not happy at his club at the moment. The former Hamburger SV man, however, has denied that he’s going to leave Fiorentina in the January transfer window, adding that he’s not thinking about the incoming transfer campaign.

“I am a bit annoyed by transfer rumours. I understand journalists, talking about the transfer market is their right, but they should do it when the transfer windows are open", the 27-year-old midfielder has told goal.com.

“I have 18 months left in my Fiorentina contract and I am extremely happy here. What annoy me the most, however, are rumours suggesting that I am not happy in Florence. I love this city, I am on good terms with my manager and I get regular game time, I don’t see why I should leave Fiorentina.”

The player’s agent, however, has repeatedly suggested that his client will leave Fiorentina sooner or later and that he’s not going to extend his stay at the Franchi beyond 2018.
