Berlusconi tells Milan squad: 'We need to give 100%'

Berlusconi Milan saluta
19 May at 13:59
Silvio Berlusconi visited the Milanello training complex today to have lunch and talk to the players. Two days from Milan's hot date with Juventus in this year's Coppa Italia final, the Cavaliere had some encouraging words for the squad, whom he has not visited since Cristian Brocchi took over from Sinisa Mihajlovic.

"Winning the Coppa Italia would give new meaning to this season. We need to give 100% of what he have within us, and more to boot. It would be too important a result for both you and Milan to earn European qualification, not to mention winning a 29th trophy in 30 years".

Another update: M'Baye Niang - whom many would like to see start on Saturday evening - trained with his team-mates ahead of the final.
