    Italy beats Liechtenstein 4-0: Belotti scores a double for the azzurri

    Italy beat Liechtenstein 4-0 thanks to goals from Belotti(2), Immobile and Candreva. Italy started off the game well as Immobile and Bonaventura came close to scoring. The first goal was scored off a corner kick as Romagnoli assisted Belotti's goal. A few minutes later, Belotti and Immobile worked very well together and Immobile struck it home to put the azzurri up by two. Candreva then scored Italy's third on an assist from De Sciglio and just before the half-time whistle, Belotti scored another one to put Italy up by four. Ventura then made a few changes in the second half but the result stayed the same.

    In other results, Spain beat Macedonia and Israel beat Albania which means that Spain and Italy remain the top two teams of group G with 10 points each, followed by Israel who now have nine points.
