Juventus ace Paulo Dybala still a doubt for Empoli clash
The Old Lady’s fans fear the talented Argentinean striker would not make it for the Bianconeri’s next Serie A game against Empoli and a statement released today by the club has not placate the worry.
“After returning from South America, Paulo Dybala underwent medical examinations to assess his progress following the muscle injury he sustained against Torino last Sunday. These have shown an improvement in the player's condition.”
“His progress will continue to be monitored as the Bianconeri work towards next weekend’s return to Serie A action against Empoli.”
Scorer of 18 goals in all competitions this term, Dybala is at his first season at the J Stadium after completing a € 32 million move from Palermo last summer.
Should he miss the Empoli clash, Dybala is believed to be eligible to play Juventus’ following game against AC Milan at the San Siro. Andrea Barzagli and Stephan Lichtsteiner should be available for the Empoli game, while Claudio Marchisio might come back against for the San Siro showdown against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side.
